Default Aces do hold up in low-limit games!

We see a lot of posts that complain about AA getting rivered out by that gutshot straight draw. Well, I was dealt pocket aces in middle position this weekend and won 38BB's in the hand. Sorry I don't have the hand, but the history was not complete for some reason. Anyway, it was capped before the flop with 5 or 6 players. I flopped trips with no draws on the board. Another guy hit 2 pair (Aces and 4's). We capped it to the end, resulting in the 38BB's. Wow! That's the way low limit is suppose to work!

Just thought this would be of some encouragement to everyone.

I think they mean unimproved.. anyways party players make this claim. 2+2ers don't unless they want to get laughed at and have everyone show them their PT stats demonstrating how AA wins 70-80% of the time for them.

When I play at the casino, I am always hearing complaints that aces (and kings, and queens, and jacks, and ace king) won't hold up, and nobody knows why they play them in the first place.

I repeatedly suggest that if they know the hand is no good, they should fold it, but so far no takers.

that's quite low. obviously its more important to win chips than pots, but AA should not be folded or getting beat that often if you are properly aggressive with them. it could easily be a sample size issue as well.

some posts have AA winrates.

My AA is 65%, but actually I'm curious about people's KK rates, and how often they are up against AA. I'm hoping I suffer from a sample size problem...will post KK vs AA numbers later.

I believe about 1 time in 33 (3%) that you have KK someone else will have AA. (And you'll win 1/5 (20%) of those)

I'd say 4,4%, but I could be wrong... please correct me if so.

My calculation: (4/50)x(3/49)= 0,49% (the probability for one person to get AA against you)
0,49x9= 4,4% (tenhanded table)
