Having trouble with overcards
Out of any hand on the flop overcards always give me the most trouble. I'm still struggling somewhat to get out of the weak-tight mindset.
Raise the flop, check or bet the turn, bet the river? Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls. Flop: (11 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) SB bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, Hero calls, Button folds. Re: Having trouble with overcards
Raise the flop & go for a free card on the turn. Hopefully your raise will shut out the button, and everyone will check to you on the turn. If the turn misses you, check again. Someone will the probably bet the river. If the river hits you raise. If not, fold.

Re: Having trouble with overcards
Don't bother betting the river after multiple callers on the turn unless you have a good read on their play.

Re: Having trouble with overcards
Take the free card on the Turn. No reason to raise the Flop or bet the River.
