Easiest. Bet. Ever. [/ QUOTE ] Theres always a chance if you check he will bet his busted flush draw. But we would need a read to go along with that. |

Re: Value bettign the river
The question that I ask is not whether I have the best hand or not. It's whether I can get value out of a river bet. If my ace is good, what is UTG going to call the river with. Any Ten, but certainly not very many aces he could have I can beat with this board. Plus the chances of a raise here diminish my value bet because I will likely have to call a raise here regardless, because it is still likely enough that he could bluff with that river card, or just pure bluff a missed draw. Thoughts? I see the majority is still very much to bet for value here though. Feedback please on the rational behind this bet?

Re: Value bettign the river
Hands that will call that you beat: 99/77/44/33/22, A7/A4/A3/A2, KT/QT/JT/T9, 98/87, etc etc etc.
Not to mention curious KQ/KJ/QJ/J9. |

Re: Value bettign the river
I was too late to answer in the poll, but yes. Bet the damn river.
Because, A) you will be called by a lot of stuff, and B) if you check, you have to call, and you will probably be better off betting and being called, than checking and having to call. |
