Default Changing starting hands when moving from 8-10 to 5-7 players

After playing a few months worth of poker online I had my first opportunity to play in Vegas recently. It was a fun and moderately profitable experience. After playing only full and near full tables on-line though, I found myself ill prepared when the tables shrunk in size to 5 or 6 players. Being a somewhat tight player I was a bit confused as to how much to open up my starting hands as the number of opponents shrank. Does anyone have any good system about how to open up starting hands as # of players shrink? Does Ace-rag become profitable? What percentage of flops become worth seeing? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Just pretend the first 3-5 players folded and play like a full game.
