Most flops 3-6 players in the 2 orbits I"ve been there, typical mix of players.

hero is mp2 with 88

2 calls, hero calls, co raises , sb calls, bb calls (6 pl)

flop 8-2-3 rainbow

checked to co, co bets, sb raises, hero calls, co re-raise,
sb folds, hero calls.

(so here i put co on AA,KK,QQ,JJ or AK)

He rivered you. 19 times out of 20 you are going to be a winner here. Don't worry about it, you played it fine. He will likely still call your bet on the river, too, when he misses.

Not only is this an easy river bet, but you should seriously consider 3-betting unless you're sure that he won't raise the river with AK or KQ.
