Flu Vaccine Quote

Did anyone else hear that idiot district attorney from Kansas City talking about prosecuting for "price gouging" on flu vaccine. He said something like, "We're prosecuting these companies for price gouging on flu vaccine rather than charging the fair market value (and this is where it gets good), which is set by law." ROFLMAO! He actually said this!!! He said the "-fair market value" is set by law!!!

Does he understand the stupidity behind his statement? You can't have a "fair market value" set by law. We wouldn't have this shortage of flu shots if the government would let the market set the price.

That's what was so funny. He had no idea he'd just completely contradicted himself. He said this with such complete sincerity. And I believe he was the district attorney. Glad to see our law schools turning out such well-educated minds. I was in my car when I heard it and almost had an accident I was laughing so hard.
