Good Agression or Lost Customer?
Wondering about my c/r here.
Villan is the player I've seen the most at this level. The best player I've encountered at this level. sLA-A 19 hands played w/bubble. 47% VP$IP. To a certain degree, I know that my actions might not have mattered at all, but I'm wondering whether a bet instead of a c/r would have been better to gain a bet from bubble. A bet from Villan was as sure as a bet from any 2+2'er in this situation, though I don't know if he is or not (just plays like it). I'm wondering if I could have counted on him for a raise. Worst case scenario: I bet, bubble folds, Villan calls, and BB folds (lost a bet from Villan vs. status quo). Best case scenario, I bet, bubble calls, Villan raises, I 3-bet, who cares what bubble does, and Villan caps/calls, whatever. I thought it was better to make a draw face two bets. Any comments?
