Default KK w/ A on flop

No hand to analyse here, just a general question. Suppose you are in early to mid position w/ KK. You raise to 4xBB PF and get 2-4 callers. Flop comes Axx rainbow. What do you do?

I know a lot of people say an EP raiser must just about always bet out on the flop, but what if you think it's likely you're beat? Do you check here and show that you probably have a PP? Do you bet out? If you bet out, what do you do when you get called? (I am thinking fold if raised, but being called is not that informative.)

No opinions on this?

KK is a good hand for me, but I feel like I'm too weak when an A flops.

these general questions are tough to answer. if you can find a particular hand to post, it'd help.

if you think its likely that someone has an ace, check. if you think they could have called preflop with anything, bet. other than that, cant say much more without a hand.
