Biggest Pot I\'ve seen
You're welcome to comment, I just thought it was an amazing amount of action. I decided that the bettors were so aggressive that there would be no paring down the field in this hand and I might as well let them do the betting for me (adding in extra bets never really seemed prudent, though I never thought they'd go as far as they did either and worried about making them clam up at another potentially good hand)
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (7 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Re: Biggest Pot I\'ve seen
Congratulations on that last 9 falling. (not that you didn't have the odds to stick with this, just, well, congratulations!)

Re: Biggest Pot I\'ve seen
I'd usually cap that flop. Usually. I don't think it makes too much of a difference.

Re: Biggest Pot I\'ve seen
Yeah... to be honest I usually would also but this was not an overly aggro table (three bets PF were usually uncommon unless I was doing it), so I was curious if there was a hand someone felt was worth four betting. This much interest this early was daunting (I pretty much assumed I was up against a better hand but at least was willing to wait to the flop and consider mine like any other pockets)

Re: Biggest Pot I\'ve seen
Please cap the flop. You have almost the best possible hand at this point and plenty of outs if you're behind a straight to gamble on the flop.

Re: Biggest Pot I\'ve seen
I have seen a 70BB pot at pokeroom 1/2. Somebody named Gouldbusk was pumping garbage the whole way against AA or KK I remember is my KJ off would have dragged down the monster pot if I was willing to ride out the quading.......

Re: Biggest Pot I\'ve seen
Interesting, I had an almost identical hand (to the initial post JJ hand) a few days ago - Pacific 2/4.
The only differences - flop was A J 4, turn 8, river 8. The pot was 31.75 BB. I also failed to cap pre-flop, which was a mistake. |
