Default Going to AC on Thursday, where to play?

Just like the subject says. I'm bringing a couple hundred with me. I've played black jack, three card poker and let it ride down there but never poker. Whats the best place to go play, maybe $1/$2 or a little higher?

Under the boardwalk I hear there is a good .02/.04 game. The rake is a bit steep though.

If you are looking to play hold 'em, 2-4 is the lowest limit offered. The main places to play are Taj and Borgata...both are good, big rooms. Taj has more tables and less of a wait, particularly on weekends. During the week, either works. Taj has 2-4, 3-6, 5-10 for low limit. Borgata has 2-4, 3-6, 6-12 (I am not positive on 2-4 there...they might have one or the other). Borgata is by far the nicer room with hot waitresses, flat screen tvs, comfy chairs, bottled beers. But I still like Taj bc there are more games and I think its better run. But, I recommend you play both.

Are the 2/4's no limit?

No. For no limit, I believer Taj has a 1-2 blind and 2-5 blind game. Both have max buyins (maybe 300 and 500), but I'm not sure how they play cause I've never played them. Borgata also has similar NL games and a big 5-10 blind pot limit game.

What Jeff said...

Tropicana is the 3rd card room worth mentioning. Decent size and selection of games including 1/2 no-limit and 2/4 & 3/6 limit. Bally's also has a card room, but I stopped playing there years ago so I can't speak intelligently about the games there.

... except that the Trop does not have 3/6. they offer 2/4, 4/8 and 7.50/15 limit games

The Borgata has both 2/4 and 3/6.

And Bill is correct with the Trop's games. And they also have a 2/5 no-limit.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Really looking forward to going this week. Is Borgata all limit or NL also?
