Default Bankroll Requirements Higher for Multi-Tabling?

If I multi-table 3-6, does that mean I need a higher bankroll?

Yes, but probably not for the reasons you're thinking.

You won't have a higher variance due to the increased # of tables. Multitabling can be thought of as simply increasing the number of hands you play per hour. Thus, your SD/100 will remain the same, but your SD/hr will increase. No bankroll adjustment is needed to compensate for this.

However, you will probably (at least at first) have a lower winrate in terms of BB/100. Thus, if your winrate drops from 3BB/100 to 2.5BB/100, you'll need a slightly bigger bankroll to accomodate for this.
