I agree, but I was using the "if you're going to call anyway, just bet" strategy. Are you suggesting that check/folding might be correct or that you might get lucky and get a free showdown?

Check behind on the river. SB looks like he calling down with a weak jack. Maybe hearts but I doubt it.
