Default A9s in MP1, limp and trip

I run into this all the time. I limp w/ a hand that I want to see a 2 suited flop, or trip my bottom card, but no... I trip my Ace. In this case, my kicker is above average for most PP players. So how did I do?

Default Re: A9s in MP1, limp and trip

Preflop, second in, I would probably raise with this hand, but I don't think limping is wrong.

Flop, I would have raised the flop, but the call reraise isn't wrong either.

Turn, It is scary when UTG+1 comes to life, I might call now.

River, someone has to put a bet in, it may as well be you.

I think your threebet on the turn might have been a little too aggressive, but then you have a better idea about UTG+1, because you were playing against him. I don't think that it cost you alot, because in this big pot, you have too much hand to fold.

Good luck,
play well,

Bob T.
