Damn this guy owned me...
Interesting conversation I had with a fish after this hand.
$100NL $1 BB on PStars 76 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] In the BB Flop is Q 7 x 2 diamonds. I bet $2, Fish Raises to $6 and I call Turn is a T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Fish bets $8, I raise to $25, fish calls. River is a rag. I bet $25, fish calls. then this.... GAR H0LE: lol GAR H0LE: u raised on draw Sponger15SB: i didnt raise on a draw Sponger15SB: i bet a draw... not to mention i had a pair + flush draw GAR H0LE: ya i had Q GAR H0LE: not to mention GAR H0LE: you a older guy GAR H0LE: thanks Sponger15SB: you were only a 60% favorite on the flop Sponger15SB: you should have dropped that hand after my check raise on the turn GAR H0LE: lol GAR H0LE: well im sorry but it was a check raise GAR H0LE: if u use that ill pay to see what u do it with GAR H0LE: check riase is for limit GAR H0LE: lol Sponger15SB: wow you are willing to pay $17 + my river bet of $25 for information! GAR H0LE: sure GAR H0LE: thats nothing GAR H0LE: peanutsz Sponger15SB: so $47 is going to be worth it to find out, even though most likely we will never play against eachother ever again GAR H0LE: are u kidden me GAR H0LE: that note was great Sponger15SB: whats the note? he bets his draws and then totally owns me? GAR H0LE: i have notes on 4 out of the 6 GAR H0LE: at this table GAR H0LE: now 5 out of 6 GAR H0LE: which is you a ya noob Sponger15SB: yeah, and i've got $50 of your money, so i hope it was worth it GAR H0LE: owns me for a 50 buck pot GAR H0LE: well GAR H0LE: it goes like this GAR H0LE: u take 50 GAR H0LE: and go to bed GAR H0LE: like a noob |

Re: Damn this guy owned me...
Is this really what people think? That 47BB's is going to be worth it for information?

Re: Damn this guy owned me...
Don't see why everyone is laughing at this guy. Pretty soon he will have near perfect notes on everyone he has ever played against. The money will start rolling in and once he gets over his acceptable $793,422 initial loss he should be able to give up his daytime job (as a comedian) and turn pro, while you're still giving away valuable information to the sharks for short term profit. You gotta see the big picture, man.

Re: Damn this guy owned me...
i really like the part where you explained that he should fold the turn when he was checkraised. what a kind and generous person you are to be helping out a fish like that. what's that? you just wanted to pump up your ego and tell him how much better a poker player you are then him? well now that's just stupid.

Re: Damn this guy owned me...
What's the point of telling him that you are a better poker player (i.e. know some odds)? If this is an ego thing, why not just check who has the largest genitals or something?

Re: Damn this guy owned me...
I agree with the others. Why are you trying to win the war of words with this guy? You got his money, that should be enough. When they call me a noob, I always agree with them and ask them if I did something wrong. Their response to that is usually "fu", to which I don't respond but get a big chuckle followed by the guy going on tilt.

Re: Damn this guy owned me...
Dont inform this guy of how good you are. Obviously he sucks. Dont get into a battle of egos with him and have him start playing his best against you. Let him think you suck, it will be that much esier to take the rest of his money.
