Default question for: annie duke, greg raymer,paul phillips, josh arieh, etc.

i play hold em poker about once are twice a week and am decent, but i would like to get a lot better. i was wondering what are some things that yall recommend to do, or things that yall actually did to acquire your hold em skills, and become the type of high quality players that yall are. any help is greatly appreciate!!! thanks [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

They will all tell you to study and gain experience, both in game and out.

So if it helps, pretend I am one of them and take the advice.

^ agreed. Experience is the number 1 thing. Books and studying are extremely helpful as well.

Do you honestly expect these people to take their time to answer your very broad question? The answers you seek are all over this board, but it takes hard work and study.

Please. You have to be kidding me. The edge these nouveau riche poker celebrities have over any strong player is infinitesimal. And I'd surmise that whatever edge they have is derived more their bankroll size and intimidation than from skill.
