Hero has Ac Kd (two pair, aces and fours).

I worried about my opponent having 2 pair during this hand a little, and afterwards a lot. How often will a betting pattern like this indicate a flopped two pair? Or am I over analyzing the hand?

Since the flop was about as unthreatening as it could be in terms of draws, I bet out weakly hoping to get raised back. Maybe that worked out exactly like I wanted?

its not the flopped 2 pair you should be worried about.

its the set of Js.

although this guy was loose enough to call with ATo so I guess hes loose enough to call preflop with Ajo too.

Most of the time though, this betting pattern indicates pocket Js to me.

I would be afraid of 2 pair or better in this hand too. Problem is, you are playing party poker $25 max in which case you could easily be ahead so i think you play was fine.

Definately make a note on that clown.

At this level, with 50BB stacks, you should be willing to get your whole stack in when you flop a pair with AK most of the time. Unless you have a read that tells you that the player will not put his stack in with middle pair/top pair no kicker, assume he will.

The biggest moneymaker in these games is the inability of most players to consider what YOU may be holding, take advantage of it, you'll be up against 2-pair or a set here much less often than a weak ace, middle pair, a gutshot, who knows.
