Party Poker Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind t100 (4 handed)
UTG (t2395) Hero (t2830) SB (t1225) BB (t1550) Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG folds, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls. Flop: (4.50 SB, t450) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero checks. Turn: (2.25 BB, t450) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls. River: (6.25 BB, t1250) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero checks. Final Pot: 6.25 BB (t1250) --- note, this wasn't limit, so i couldn't push preflop ... but did i play it too weak? i think i should have bet on the flop ... i raised the turn in case he was making a play i didn't bet on thet river because i figured he would call and i was pretty sure i was beat |

Re: how badly did i play this?
Bet the flop. You have position, use it.
And I'd fold to the turn bet, unless your read is that the player is particularly passive. Getting 5-1 on his call of your raise, I don't know that a player with a hand worth betting out on the turn is going to lay down to a raise enough to make this profitable. |
