Default Quantifying TV exposure\'s effect on poker popularity

If someone had some real stats, this could get interesting...

But using general numbers, what effect do you think the exposure poker has gotten on TV (both ESPN, Fox Sports, Travel, etc) has done to increase the popularity of the sport in recent times?

For instance, taking the total number of people who played at least once a month online or once a month in a home game or at a casino in 2002... lets say that number was 5 million people.

If that was true, where do you think that number went to after at the end of 2003? And where do you think it will be at the end of 2004?

Am I overshooting to think that it will be at least triple by the end of this year compared to 2002?
