so this guy literally wins 150 dollars in 10 minutes on 2 of the stupidest [censored] plays ever. its just nonsense that he could even exist, i have no idea how i didnt just lay into this guy. i would have bought in again and killed him if not for me wanting to break everything i own. i understand the long run and i am very well bankrolled, but i would like to make money, and im never on the side of drawing out on someone, and calling with some garbage flush draw isnt the answer to my problem. after a few months of steady profit today was an onslaught of ridiculous beats that just annoyed the [censored] out of me. so i guess if i didnt play these hands right, point it out, but im pretty sure i did and it was just retarded play being rewarded...

How are you supposed to play against players like this? you give them way too high of a price for their draw, they call anyways and catch it, if i let him see a card he either will draw out on me, or hit nothing and fold. i get no odds anywhere with being ahead in the hand. they either fold or draw out, where am i supposed to win the big pots? what a mess...

Are you well bank rolled due to your trust fund or did you win it at poker? I'm assuming you won it at poker beating these exact same people that suck out on you "all the time." It happens.

I like to increase my pre-flop raises when I'm playing with "any two cards, and if they're suited I'll orgasm" type players. Raise in the same situations you'd normally raise 4xBB of course to continue masking your hands (like they're paying attention) but just increase your normal raise to punish them more. Obviously it can be frustrating to play against people who call preflop with anything and call flop and turn with any piece of anything, but you just have to be more aggressive against them and know that in the long run you're winning money.

Don't worry about him "winning $150 in 5 minutes" he's just going to lose it.

1. don't post bad beat stories, everyone here has had much worse beats happen.

2. dont be convinced that exposed trips are a hand to back your stack with. everyone can see the pair on the board and if they're calling your all-in, they've probably got you beat or are very shortstacked and hoping you're bluffing.

3. don't raise AT, you fold out weaker aces and keep the better ones.

Take a break and get over it. then go back and revel in the stupidity and profitability of such players.

Hand 1: Sorry bud this isn't that bad of a beat. You actually lose to more than two cards on the river here. Two 7's + two K's = 4 cards. Also if one of the other three two's hit then you split.

Hand 2: On the turn you're only a 2.2 to 1 favorite. I wouldn't get too worked up about being drawn out on this one.

So what if you lose ~$50 on these two hands. You got your money in both times when you were the favorite, what else can you ask for.

I know it can be frustrating at times, but if you're going to be a winning player you need to develop yourself psychologically to take these, and much worse, blows.

Only my opinion,

Zephyr

You weren't nice to me when we played together, you repeatedly lied on our discussion in the forums, and I am glad you lost your money.

If you want to know why, search my history for this idiot's prior behavior.

You owe me $1 for cluttering up our forum with this garbage.

"im never on the side of drawing out on someone"

Well, sorry, but on hand 2, I don't know how you call that flop?? True, you say that this guy is horrible who bets, but you already have a caller in front of you for a $2 bet on a $1.50 pot. There's 2 diamonds, and you have the ignorant end of the draw here... Would you actually WANT to see a Q come up here?? Then even when you hit one of your 3 clean outs here you still face the problem of having 2 guys out there chasing you... J, 10, or D you lose, and 8 you slpit the pot... you must have still been steaming after hand 1 to call that bet on the flop...

Wait, are you serious? You are sad about a suck-out-re-suck-out? This is a joke, right?
