Default would you play this hand?

PP $10 Omaha SnG.
blinds are 30/60. I'm in the small blind. There's a bet, and a raise before me.

I've got 3456 single-suited.

I'd fold it. Without the raise I might limp for a half bet. With the raise, even though I recognize it may be an attempt to limit the field or bully opponents, it's just not worth playing the hand. In any event, it's certainly not a very good starting hand.

I would fold to a raise.
Out of the blinds I would fold to a bet.
If there were many callers, I would fold for half a bet in the small blind, figuring the Aces and deuces are out.
Against only one or two non-rock callers, I would probably call for half a bet.

This is a very weak hand. It looks nice but it needs two perfect cards to flop.

WHAT! In a 10$ sng...Call that in a second!Low-mid level omaha8 is a joke...just because someone raised does not mean they have ABC in their hand! people raise with weird hands they think are good! For example a hand like KK108 looks great to some people in this game because it has KK in it, I started off playing in the .25-.50 omaha8 rooms online and I saw stuff like this all the time, same thing in the 5 and 10 dollar sngs...I call this everytime if this isnt more than 5% of my stack....you definitly need a good flop though, you are either going to lose a little or make a lot...You can play a lot of hands with profitablity in omaha8 if you know what to do with them after the flop...

I agree a raise doesn't necessarily mean someone has ABC here.

However, 3456 truly is not a very good hand, and if it looks as though seeing the flop will be expensive (or even more than just a half bet as from the unraised small blind), do you really want to pay to play this hand?

You never can avoid the gamble in the game. There's always going to be some gamble, but I want the odds on my side when I make the gamble. I don't think you have the odds on your side when, holding 3456, you put in a double bet before the flop.

The only reason I would consider playing this is because it is a Party SnG, and you need chips quickly because of the blind structure, and if you are going to play it, raise and try to lose people.
