Shorthanded Question
Been debating this one hand.
(First post, hope it works) ***** Hand History for Game 955329931 ***** FARNZY finished in fourth place. 400/800 TourneyTexasHTGameTable (NL) (Tournament 5894047) - Thu Sep 16 21:45:10 EDT 2004 Table Table 11756 (Real Money) -- Seat 10 is the button Total number of players : 3 Seat 5: AKGUY (1010) Seat 6: Hero (1625) Seat 10: jdlafrance54 (5365) AKGUY posts small blind (200) Hero posts big blind (400) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero [ 3s, 5c ] jdlafrance54 folds. AKGUY raises (810) to 1010 AKGUY is all-In. Rest below in white. Hero calls (610) ** Dealing Flop ** : [ 8c, 3d, 2c ] ** Dealing Turn ** : [ Qh ] ** Dealing River ** : [ 9c ] Creating Main Pot with $2020 with AKGUY ** Summary ** Main Pot: 2020 | Board: [ 8c 3d 2c Qh 9c ] AKGUY balance 0, lost 1010 [ 6s Kh ] [ high card king -- Kh,Qh,9c,8c,6s ] Hero balance 2635, bet 1010, collected 2020, net +1010 [ 3s 5c ] [ a pair of threes -- Qh,9c,8c,3s,3d ] jdlafrance54 balance 5365, didn't bet (folded) Don't think I made the right call, but I was debating the odds of winning the hand vs the chance to knock out someone and moving up. The high blinds and the low stack were a big concern to. In this situation what critera should someone use? Thanks in advance. Alan |

Re: Shorthanded Question
You had about 2-3 more hands you could see and double back to where you started.
I personally would fold, you never know, that other shortstack could be knocked out next hand and I am pretty sure you would get a MUCH better next hand. I would fold this, go all on on the next if i get a overcard or on the button |
