is this the worst-played hand ever?
Hero and Villain have ~$150, party NL 50
Hero is dealt AdAh on the button Villain raises to 3.5, 2 callers, hero raises to 12, villain raises to 20.5, hero raises to 50, villain calls Flop (~106) Kc 4d 8d Villain checks, Hero Checks Turn Td, Villain goes allin, Hero folds I'm thinking that my last raise pf should have been larger, but as for my fold postflop I really thought he had Kings. I could not think of any hand that even considers playing like he did other than Kings. This is still probably the most weak-tight play in the world though. |

Re: is this the worst-played hand ever?
You have come to a place where u should have gone all-in pre-flop. Commit him to pay you. If u feared losing your bankroll, you should have throwed the Aces before the flop (lol) .

Re: is this the worst-played hand ever?
Push preflop, on the flop, or on the turn.
He could have queens and sense weakness since you checked the flop. When the diamond fell he bet it, representing something big. He could have kings, but youve got outs and the pot is already big. I would have liked to see you lead out on the flop, and call any reraise (which likely sets you both all in). |

Re: is this the worst-played hand ever?
If he had kings, he'd be a fool not to put YOU all in before the flop. He probably had AK and you just gave away 50 bucks.

Re: is this the worst-played hand ever?
AK, KK, QQ, JJ.
Only hand you need to worry about is KK. But I agree with Kyro, he probably pushes preflop with KK. AK is a possibility, though I think he would have played it harder on the flop. QQ or JJ pushes because you checked the flop and another undercard came. He wants to use the diamond as a scare card maybe. So I think youre a favorite against most hands, and on the rare occasion youre against KK, youve got some outs; 8 or 9 diamonds and 3 aces. |
