AA dead to 666 before river?
Last night on WSOP, they showed a hand all-in with Ax with an A on the board against a set of sixes, and said he was dead with a card to come on the river. I replayed back on the tivo a couple of times - did I miss something?
I thought maybe they (the commentators) knew the other aces were mucked, but people behind the table were congratulating the winner early, and they couldn't have known. |

Re: AA dead to 666 before river?
If another A comes, it'll give the set of 6s a full house and the Ax will still only have trip aces.

Duh. Mind cramp. I guess I just kept imagining him holding the aces. Should have noticed it when I typed it in (correctly).
Sorry for wasting bandwidth! |

Re: AA dead to 666 before river?
The best part was that Anderson said "he trapped me". When Anderson pushed first (with AT on the Ace high flop). Who new that calling with 66 was "trapping".
