Single Table Home Game - Please Help Make the Call
We have been playing 10 man No Limit games twice a week for a year. Tonight for some reason one of the guys is asking if he can bring a friend. 'We can squeeze 11 around the table' is the argument and most of our guys are saying - OK No big deal. I think it is... but want to know what the real world poker reason would be. I said the odds change blah blah blah..... Do you squeeze an 11th guy in or not?

Re: Single Table Home Game - Please Help Make the Call
We knew someone would ask this -- #11 is a total fish. His $100 Buy-In would likely be a donation to the pot, but does this justify changing the flow of the cards by the 11th player?

if the game is some what casual, then why not. It'll change the odds a little but so what.

Squeeze the guy in but make clear you don't have room for 12 in case they get ideas to start bringing even more players.
