I posted on here about losing too much money while learning the game. Thanks for all the great advice...

I started to play alot tighter in the .50/1 room after that... I payed close attention to my position and folded alot more in the early positions and played more loose in the dealer position. Well...i won $50 playin .50/1... got my bankroll to 100 so i moved up to 1/2 5 seat max. In the last 4 days i brought my bankroll to $400.... My question is did i actually get that much better , or are my winning pure luck?????

not enough info...it could be short term variance and you are improving or short term variance and you are still playing poorly. Also, you might want to bigger bankroll before going up limits, usually around 300BB...good luck...

Getting a 100 BBs at .5/1 isn't saying enough to move up. Since you seem less experienced. Stay at .5/1 till you get 10k hands or 300 BBs at least. Either one a min.

Good players dont play with a 50BB bankroll.

My bankroll is now up to 350. I started with 50 but everyone doesnt deposit 500 with their initial deposit. Ive also found that winning at 1/2 is alot easier than winning at .50/1... so i dont see logic to go back down.
