Default Bet this river?

I don't like all these cold callers on the turn. Should I bet again on the river with 2nd pair?

Why did you raise the turn?

I'd bet the river if you were willing to raise 2 people on this board.

I raised the turn because I thought that most of the time I have the best hand and I didn't want to let these people see the river with their overcards. When I got a bunch of people who called two big bets cold after checking the flop I thought that at least one of them had Tx.

Unfortunately I didn't stick to my guns. SSH says that when the pot is big you should continue to bet your hands on the river, don't be satified for the pot as it is, bet and make it bigger.

I bet all the way. Alot of time only to be shown trips flushes higher pair etc. But i keep betting. I think the problem is that most of these people are so passive they just call all the way down.

Entity and I werer playing a game dont really remeber the details other than him saying "Man these guys are passive"

I really thought Bison would have been here already saying, "Yes, bet the river." Whether he had to read past the "Party Poker 0.50/1" or not.

You are abusing SSH here.

SSH says small pots to play them passive and not invest much.

You aren't likely to have a dominating hand (muchless if you got 3 bet back).

You should have just called IMO. You made the pot big by getting a cold caller and the original bet to call your raise. 7 BBs is not a big pot for a middle pair with one kicker above the pair.
