Default Turned the Straight with A Pair Onboard

Table was super loose with 6+ people seeing almost every flop. Should I have 3bet the turn after being check-raised or fear the the full house and just call? I think I played the rest of the hand okay, anyone think otherwise?

The 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the river didnt improve his hand, so you should definitely raise, then call if he 3-bets. I'm guessing slowplayed trip kings from him.

I think this is fine. He just capped the turn after you pretty much represented your hand and still led into you on the river. While I can see an aggressive opponent doing this with either a)your hand or b) AK, for an avg party player I'm thinking he has a boat. Raising the river will probably knock out MP2 and SB might 3-bet you, thus knocking out BB as well. For these reasons I think the overcall is the right play.

You need a specific read to raise the river here.
Some guys are happy to cap everystreet with K2 or maybe worse.
Against those jokers raise the river.
