You'll get better responses if you don't indicate the results.
There is no way for you to protect your hand. Don't worry about it. |

I would have folded to that raise pre-flop. 76o has a negative expectation against a raiser.
But since you're already in having posted, calling one bet after the raise is OK given the size of the pot your relative position. |

He's getting like 18-1 on his call. I would call with almost anything there.

I dont like the river raise with the 4 card staright out there - I would have thought players behind you would have been scared of it, and with so many players its likely one may have the 4
Thats just my opinion - I'm very new to this. StuR |

i like my river bet because mp1 didn't raise the turn and i doubt he's capable of a slowplay. when the ace fell on the river i put him on the ace not the four.

yeah i realized what i did. saying i got outdrawn was kinda dumb. anyway you guys feel i played this right? even though i doubt mp1 even knows what the pot odds are... had he known he would have odds to chase almost anything. do you guys think i played this too aggressive?
thanks chris since i already ruined the suspense i might as well tell you what he turned over 74o |

If I had 74o on this flop with this pot, I would fold approximately 0% of the time.

A flop preflop here would be horrible. HORRIBLE.

I would not of raised the river. When MP bets out on the river after staying through all the flop action, it's very likely that he has ATLEAST higher two pair than you, if not the straight.
