Default How much to keep on the table?

After playing limit hold em and limit omaha hilo for much too long i've started playing pl omaha8. I play 25c-50c with a 100$ buy in, the average player here buys in for 50$, i always buy in for 100$.

Tonight i played with a loose aggressive maniac at my table he had 400 when i got a seat and was up to about 650$ when i finally got a hand against him, i was down to 86$ after numerous missed flops. I raised the pot preflop with aa28 dbl suited he reraised the pot another called and i reraised and he put me in, i made two pair and scooped.

Knowing im the best player at this table,(im not that great but they are horrible.) should i continually top up my chips everytime i go down in chips to maximize my pot when i win?

Is there any advantage aside from table image to have a 3 or 4 x buy in stack?, im a consistent winner at this site and usually leave the table once i reach 250-300 and sit back down a half hour later and buy in for 100$ again.

I would suggest that if you win a big stack, say 2x or 3x the $100 buyin, and if I am fairly sure I am the strongest player in the table, I would keep it and use this big stack to my advantage. After all, having a big stack that covers everybody allows me to control the game and is highly desirable. There's no room for fear in winning poker.
