Default Two consecutive Hands

Party 1/2 6 Max, Both 6 Handed

Hand 1

Hero has 6c6s in BB

Utg calls, Utg+1 calls, Button calls, Sb completes, Hero checks

Flop
4s5c6d
Sb bets, Hero raises, folded to sb who 3 bets, Hero calls
(I was thinking that by calling I would be led into on turn and then raise)

Turn
9d
Sb bets, Hero raises, Sb 3-bets, Hero caps

River
Kc
Sb bets, Hero raises, Sb 3-bets, Hero calls

I think that i was a little too strong on the turn and possibly river, but other than that I think it was well played on theother streets.

Hand 2(The very next hand)
Hero has As4s in sb

Utg, CO, Button limp, Hero completes, BB checks

Flop
5s9sKs

Hero bets, CO and Button call

Turn
Kd

Hero bets, Co raises, Button folds, Hero 3-Bets, Co caps

River
Qc

Hero bets, Co raises, Hero calls

Please rip my play apart if you disagree with any play on any street. On hand one I realize my turn play could have been a bit strong, but maybe others will disagree.

Default Re: Two consecutive Hands

When you consider how rediculously passive the 1/2 game is, i think you need to give a little more respect when your opponent 3 bets the flop and caps the turn. In hand one I would probably just call the 3 bet on the turn and call his bet on the river assuming you dont fill up.
Hand 2 i think your play is fine because he would probably be just as aggressive with trip kings, so it is harder to put him on a boat.

Give us your reads on the table and opponents, without some idea of their style it is hard to critique your play. With no information, I agree with NLSoldier's assessment. It's important with non-nut hands like this that you don't give too much action without a clear read the player will cap with less than the nuts.

I was new to the table(had been there for one orbit) and really didn't have any reads. Any way, the first guy flopped the nut straight, and then he had KQ in the second hand winning with the boat.
