LI/NYC Card rooms

So, I'm a long islander, I play a lot of $.50-1 NLH and the occasional $1/2 NLH at school, play online at Party& Absolute. I'm looking for good Hold-em/Omaha/Stud live games in L.I., Brooklyn or NYC. Reccomendations?

I've had luck finding names like "Galaxy" and a few others, but no real location info so PMs from those in the know would be appreciated.

I can offer you this: The sons of Italy Lodge in Oceanside has a Vegas Night the First Friday of every month where they have a 2/4 limit game. I've gone twice. Very loose game with some poor players (also a couple of obvious sharks) but its fun and it's a night out. The game goes from 8PM untill midnight.

They also run no-limit tourneys every Thurdsday night for a $100 buy in. I've never gone but they told me that they usually have 20 players or so.

I'll get you the phone number for the lodge. It's right on Long Beach Road, next to Nathan's.

What else would you like to know...it's a good time (though I do wish they'd play later than midnight). Very friendly environment...they provide a dealer (non-professional) and they have pretty decent chips.

The next one is the first Friday of Sept.
Let me know what other info would be helpful.
