Default Neteller troubles

Neteller can't seem to be able to verify my SSN. They want me to fax them a copy of a form or something of that nature. Anyone else us a method of managing their online money other than Neteller and find it just as reliable and fast? Or is Neteller worth the trouble of providing them with documentation, which would require a visit to my "local Social Security Office."

Neteller is worth the trouble if you plan to play at a lot of sites and do lots of depositing/withdrawing.

Well that wasn't the answer I was hoping for Thythe, but thanks anyway. Unfortunately, the closest SS office is about an hour away (gotta love WV). Anyone else use something other than Neteller and are satisfied using it instead?

I just read that each transaction with Firepay costs 2.99! Like you said Thythe, I guess it would be worth the trouble to use Neteller. Is there a "free", reliable service anyone could suggest?

I had the same problem. Just suck it up and get the form if you are gonna be playing a lot. NETeller is so much better then Firepay. Definitely worth the trouble

I think anyone that likes another service just doesn't know what they are missing. At first I used Firepay and thought it was good and was hesitant to switch to Neteller. After the switch, though, I realized that it is 10 times better.

Neteller pros:
-very fast withdraw times (less than 24 hours for most sites)
-practically no fees (only member to member transfer)
-user friendly and accepted everywhere
-various Neteller only bonuses

Firepay cons:
-Withdrawls can take a long time (sometimes weeks)
-Fees for practically everything
-various anti-bonuses (you give the house a bonus when signing up)

Ok I made that last one up, but the rest is true.

I had trouble with neteller signing up also. I dialed in on my laptop initally and my ip address set off some flag with them. Finally got that straight and i tried to make my initial deposit today, they wanted 4% or so for cc and 8.9% for instacash in fees.

Firepay I set up the first time, got it funded and was playing online very quick. A flat 2.99 fee.

It's all a scam, lol.

I think you were just looking at poor deposit options for Neteller. I linked my Neteller to my bank account (as I think everyone does) and when I deposited $ from there it didn't cost a cent. Never use instacash, just use the normal method and it's free.
