Default Dutch Boyd tells us what to read

dutchboyd's So You'd Like to... Guides

His insight on HPFAP:
[b]Although some of poker's biggest names like to take pot-shots at Sklansky and Malmuth, mostly based on their lack of tournament and/or high-limit success, there's no disputing this work as one of the fundamental building blocks for taking your hold 'em game to the next level. Even though some players believe that the theories in this book have become so integrated into modern play that going "counter" the text advice will produce more profits, I think you have to learn how to play by the rules before you start messing around with breaking the rules.

This book by Phil Helmuth is a bible, hands down. When my game got rusty and I wasn't winning that much anymore as the competition I played against was too loose i got his book. I started winning alot more and learning to play against really loose players. His Top 10 hands really worked even if you did grind it out, it teaches you what the bread and butter of great poker players is.

I've stayed out of all the Moneymaker threads because I didn't really care or have an opinion. I still don't care but now I have an opinion.., lucky, backy chewing moron.

Come on, no way was that written by Moneymaker. The only site he recommends playing at is Party Poker with his own sign up link? Give me a break. How gullible can you people be?

Thank You. Sometimes I really question the intelligence of people around here. Use your heads once in a while.

they prolly never read the actual article, just going by what was said here, so I doubt its a lack of intelligence issue. I could be wrong tho

Guilty as charged.. If it's clearly bogus, why would it be posted in the first place? And who has the time to actually read articles?
