Hand 1 is fine.

Hand 2, raise the river.

symphonic is dead right, a lot of people could play top pair + flush draw that way on the flop. Also you have 7 outs to fill up on the turn and 10 more for the river.

i forgot to mention on the pocket aces hand the raiser has been in every hand and seen it till the end so i didn't respect his raise for having the flush had another club fell i might have still played that way but i would have thought about it more.

Hand 1: You're good here.

Hand 2: I'm not keen on the PF 3-bet with AQo, unless you know the raiser has weak raising standards and you're trying to isolate him.

Player tendencies would depend on whether or not I would raise the river, but more than likely I would. Given your tone about your opponent's hand, I would say he's got 22 or TJ.

I think you played both hands fine.

I prefer going for an overcall in hand 2 on the river to raising becasue the Q doesn't really help against any hand that your opponent should have (I'm not saying he didn't call 2 cold with K2 or A2 (or worse) but it should be somewhat unlikely).

I had a guy call 3-cold with 57o on the button in a 5/10 game yesterday and flop trip 5s against my TP ... the fish are everywhere.
