How big of a monitor do I need?
I have a tiny monitor now, and even at max resolution, if I want to play more than one table, I have to sit in one of the corner seats so that I can at least see my cards.
If I was to get a 17 inch monitor with 1280 x 1024 resolution, would I be able to get 4 tables going with no overlap? |

Re: How big of a monitor do I need?
Go for at least a 19" CRT monitor with a max 1600x1200 resolution.
You can usually find a good deal on one in the hot deals forum at fatwallet.com, or bensbargains.net |

Re: How big of a monitor do I need?
I recommend a 21 or 22 in monitor at 1600x1200 resolution. Four party?empire tables fit very nicely.

Re: How big of a monitor do I need?
size will have no effect on overlap, its all about resolution. you need 1600x1200 to play 4 tables with no overlap.

[/ QUOTE ] i think 19" 1600x1200 is the standard for people around here. getting anything less than 1600x1200 is a really horrible idea, 17" wouldn't be too bad if you are strapped for cash, however you can always find a good deal somewhere. |

Re: How big of a monitor do I need?
You get overlap on a 17" 1280x1024 but it's not too bad. But if you sit in the wrong spots (like in seat #1 in all 4 games) then some of your cards will be covered on the bottom two games.
