Default How did I play this KTo?

.50/1 Party ring game. Full table. (10 players)

I get KTo in LMP.

One limper to me. I limp. Button limps. SB completes and BB checks.

Five of us see the flop. K 8 6 rainbow.

SB, BB & EP check around to me. I bet. Button calls. SB and BB fold. EP calls.

Turn is 2, completing the rainbow.

EP checks. I bet. Button calls. EP folds.

River is 6. I bet. Button raises. I call.

results (in white): Button shows KQ and takes the pot down.

Is there anything I can do differently to maximize my win / minimize my loss here? Was it proper for me to be the aggressor throughout with top pair medium kicker?

Limping with KTo from LMP is questionable, I dont like to play this hand unless its going to be heads up and then I would probably raise it. But once you hit your king on the flop you played it just right, you are most likely ahead in this hand with top pair decent kicker and will win more often then you will lose.

I fold pre-flop... the rest I play the same.

Sandwich:

Fold preflop. If you do not want to do that, then raise.
