Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button calls $0.45 (All-In), SB completes,Hero checks. Flop: (7.90 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (8 players, 1 all-in)SB checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO folds,SB raises, Hero calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls. Turn: (7.95 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players, 1 all-in) SB checks, Hero checks, MP1 bets, MP2 folds, SB raises, Hero folds, MP1 calls. I think this is a case where I should fold the flop if I'm not going to bet the turn. However, I think folding the turn is not correct. Check-raise, maybe? |

Re: Flopped top pair, weak kicker.
I think you played it well. Calling the raise on the flop is good because he might be raising with a lesser hand like a flush draw, the pot is big, and you have outs. i would've played the turn the same way.

Re: Flopped top pair, weak kicker.
This is one of those cases where you have to "regretfully reraise" the flop if you're going to play on here. You have to try to knock out overcards and gutshots on the flop.
