Addendum To Davids Post on the Life Preserver

In relation to the post of David Sklansky I would like to pose the following question.
If only you knew what your response was and you performed a deed in this situation and the gazillionaire didn't know who you were(offered the money with his back turned) what are the effects of your action on you and /or the world, if any? Sans legal system please.Also the person to be saved did not and will not see or know you-you are on your own.
