You might fold QQ and JJ or get 3-bet by KK. The only hand you are likely to get called down past the turn with and beat is AK.

No way BigEndian. No way QQ or JJ or TT or a pair of 4 is folding on Partypoker 1/2. OK, maybe but extremely unlikely. Make them pay out of their noses.

You could C/R the flop since you can forecast a bet from the button and then you can confront the field with two.

Or you can play it exactly like you did. I think the check raise may be slightly better.

I like the way you played it.

I'm not sure I like calling the flop so you can check-raise the turn. Look, you folded two hands on the flop. We don't know for sure what they had or if they call that flop raise, but it's possible they would've and maybe outdraw you. I think the raise on the flop makes more sense.

I don't see much wrong with this at all. You get a ton of chips in the pot with AA preflop. Then you get it heads up on a crap flop where it's very likely you are good but people could have backdoor shots to beat you. Then you bet and are called to the river, where you can only lose to a set. So in other words, what is supposed to happen, only this time the guy probably had 84s and you were left shaking your head as the chips were pushed his way.
