Default Pre Flop Quiz

From Poker Listings

I disagreed with one answer, but I will comment later. Where do you disagree?

With AQo I'm 3-betting a fishy or unknown UTG raiser.

I think the AJs hand is an easy raise. The rationale provided for calling...

"The reason for calling is to let in hands such as A-10, J-10, QJ and KJ, which all are dominated by your hand"

...is incorrect, as there is *not* a tremendous advantage to being up against a hand that you dominate when the pot is contested multiway

I also hate the advice of cold calling with the AQo hand.

I disagreed with the AJs in MP after 2 limpers hand and the AQo at a loose table in EP after an UTG+1 raise.

The only one I disagreed with was AJ suited from middle position with two limpers in front. I believe I am going to raise this hand.

Good point. Also, you're more likely to be last to act post-flop which should generate more value. If you're not last to act, many players are so horrible they'll call 2 with all kinds of stuff anyway.

I don't like the questions. They don't say where I am in relation to the button. This is important.

Yeah, I didn't like them either, especially when the answer for 3 of them was to coldcall. I hope lots of other people take this advice though.
