Default TT Play...

What do you think? I didn't raise preflop because raising wouldn't knock any of them out of the pot.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP3 raises, Button folds, SB folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 calls, MP3 caps, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (8.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP3 raises, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

River: (14.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls, UTG+1 folds.

Final Pot: 16.50 BB
Main Pot: 16.50 BB, between Hero and MP3.

You don't raise Pre-flop just to make people fold, you raise pre-flop because TT PF has a high expectation of winning unimproved.

Its +EV

You sure did give a crap load of action.

I'd check/call that turn.

This is very player dependant. Without a read I would probably bet and fold to a raise.

You need to put him on a range of hands and then ask yourself how you think he would play each of those and then choose whatever play that has the higher expectation.

My approach with TT is to play aggressively preflop and cautiously postflop. I'd stop short of the 3-bet on the flop. When the second 9 comes on the turn, I think it's reasonable to bet out and fold to a raise, saving a bet compared to check-call to showdown.
