Default macintosh compatible sites

does anybody know of any sites that offer macintosh compatible software? Pacific and Party definetly do not. If not, are there any sites that only use javascript/applets for their poker rooms? Input appreciated.

PokerRoom.com is the only site I have found that uses a javascript deal. The game selection isn't that great though... which is why I acquired a Windows emulator for my mac so I can play on Party and the others.

do you have a lot of multitabling overlap? I have a g4 powerbook and had a ton of overlap using virtual pc because I couldn't get the res high enough. now I use my girlfriend's pc laptop and it's a much nicer experience.

Yes, overlap, mmmm. I've been 2 tabling a lot so it hasn't been a problem. But I think I've been 2 tabling because it is a problem.

Note to self: Convince girlfriend she needs to buy a PC laptop.

I would think if you had a fast enough processor and sufficent incoming bandwidth you could run most sites inside Virtual PC. Has anyone tried?

Empire/Party runs pretty well in Virtual PC. Paradise works, but is sloooooooow. Poker Room has seen a huge jump in players over the past few months thanks to new tourneys, new microlimits, and a multitude of reload bonuses (they've had a reload bonus in each of the past three months). For Mac users without Virtual PC, it's easily the best game in town.

If you're gonna play there, sign up through cardplayer.com. 40% first deposit bonus....

Full Screen/Full color/Audio will not be a problem, but 4 tabling might. I've only tried it with two tables, and have seen enough system slowdown to discourage me from trying for more. This is on a dual 800mhz G4 desktop machine, so I'd expect similar results from a single processor G4 17" Powerbook.

i doubt vpc is able to run an entire vm multithreaded, so it's likely your second cpu was not helping. the current model is 1.5ghz, so if 2 is possible on yours i would think 4 would be on that.
