interesting hand
MP2 is a solid straightforward player
Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (7 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Re: interesting hand
For this line of play to be successful, you must believe 1) your opponent will raise with a wide variety of hands that are not pocket pairs or do not contain a Jack, and 2) your opponent is not overly aggressive and will simply call your check-raise with two overcards hoping to catch. You also are willing to fold if you get reraised.
I have used this line of play successfully against opponents with these characteristics. If I really believe my opponent has defined his hand as something like AK, I might go ahead and bet the river if I have seen him call in this situation without a pair. |

Re: interesting hand
I saw this hand, and against this particular opponent, I do not believe he would have called the turn bet with just overcards.
