I don't really see the point in the river raise unless you reckon he will call with a worse heart. His river bet looks like one of those "weak steals" that is begging to be raised so that he can go all in with the nuts, though obviously that wasn't the case.

The point that I would like to propose for debate is:
Should Tillerman go back to Warcraft? (Starcraft?) |

I have officially decided that AJo is my new hero.
I'm being serious. Then again I only see the winning hands |

I guess the river is the only street to really talk about.
I guess a read on Tillerman would help. What do you interpret his small bet to mean? Small flush, value bet Q or total bluff? I guess I need to know the guy better. Knowing nothing, I'd call because I'd hate to figure out after a huge reraise on the river that this guy is savvy enough to do this with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Your raise is not bad if you're confident he'll call with a lower flush, and you are able to fold to an all-in, or know he's capable of all-in bluff reraises. Garland |

![]() I don't like the river raise at all, do you think he'll fold a jack or a king here I doubt it. Another question if he pushes in would you have called? |

there's a decent chance you raised him off a winner but that's a big investment to make for dubious reward, especially when you might well have the best hand.
in my experience plays like this rarely work online. players make small bets like this wanting a cheap showdown, get raised big, and call anyway when they can beat only a bluff. go figure. i have seen this many times. tiller is one of the few guys who seems to make big laydowns in situations like this. |

Then that's just one more reason why I hate the raise. You obviously have a better read on Tiller, but if he comes over the top, you might be throwing away the winning hand.
