Stats without pokertracker
Are there any good tricks to getting some basic stats on your play without pokertracker or some other software product?
How do people in a B&M casino track their play? Truthfully, I have no idea what my basic stats are, such as: Vol$inPot PFR% etc. I don't know if I am playing too loose for example. |

Re: Stats without pokertracker
When faced with this decision. I saved all my hand histories until I made enough poker money to buy poker tracker. Good Luck but unless you right it down while your playing I dont know what you can do. Is there some kind of scorebook for poker. Like a stat sheet for each game, guess thats what your asking
As far as being too loose just watch your pre-flop percentage for now It will fluctuate but after 100 hands or so it should be pretty close for your session |

When you calculate a preflop %, do you include SB completes and BB free looks?

Re: Stats without pokertracker
If you have EXCEL, just record your basic stats every session. I have PT, but I still keep a primitive EXCEL spread sheet because I like it.

Re: Stats without pokertracker
With many only playing in live games, there must be some way that they keep track of their game. Are their any essays by Dave or Mason on analysing your play?

If you're interesting in tracking win rate, you might be interested in this: http://www.pokercharts.com/.
It's free, so it's got that going for it, which is nice. |
