Default WCOOP - Who\'s playing in which events ?

Just interested in getting an idea of this.

I'll definitely be playing:
Event #3 - July 30th $200+15 Limit Holdem
Event #5 - August 1st $500+30 No Limit Holdem

Probably be playing:
Event #2 - July 29th $200+15 Heads-up No Limit Holdem Matches
Event #7 - August 3rd $500+30 Pot Limit Holdem

Like to play the 2 main events but that will depend on if I feel up to wasting 3.5k or not.

Good luck to everyone playing

For sure, I'll be playing:

The 500 NL, HU Event, Rebuy event.

Probably the main event as well, but I'm still on the fence.

Mmm, good question. I wasn't planning on going to any events unless I won a satellite, but I can afford them now. I may go for the $200 rebuy hold em, $500 nl hold em, and possibly main event.

I was going to post a link to another post that asked the same question about a week or two ago, but then I realized that I don't know how to post a link. Can anyone tell me how?

To answer the question though, I will definitely play in event #5 ($530 NLHE) and event #7 ($530 PLHE). I would play in event #4 ($215 NLHE w/rebuys) but have a prior commitment that day. I will probably only play in the main event if I win a satellite, or if I do very well in one of the other events I am playing in.

In my case 2 things must happen for me to play in any WCOOP events.

1) I need to win a satellite
2) once I win a satellite, nobody will pay me $$$ for my WCOOP dollars.

That has to be a terrible idea. Aren't you better off playing cash tourneys and games vs. qualifying for WCOOP and selling?

Of course. I may play one or two more FPP satellites for the Stud/8 event, but I'd rather play a $30 +3 2-table SNG than a $38 Double Shootout. I think in the last month, I've played 3 FPP satellites.

The rebuy is something I will likely give a miss even though it promises to be a good event with plenty of play in the stacks.

Nothing yet. I won't pay that much to enter but I'll try some more satelites. Just missed a doubleshootout to the 500 potlimit but I hate those doubleshootouts so I won't play anymore of them. Hopefully they will run some supers. I'd really like to play the main event. I won a super last year and got in but last year it was only a 1000 instead of 2500.
