correct play with aggressive button?
PP, .50/1 pot-limit table.
I'm dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the BB with about $70. Five limpers back to me, I check. Flop comes Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Checked around to button($60, playing wildly IMHO) who bets $2 into a $7 pot. I check-raise the size of the pot (about $10), all fold to the button who reraises all-in. I fold and he flashes 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for a flush and gut-shot draw. This hand haunts me. Should I have bet out on the flop? (not that that would have changed button's play...) Do you play your draws as aggressively as the button on this hand? Thanks in advance. 4gapper |

Re: correct play with aggressive button?
I play like the villian a lot, and I would fold in you situation unless he is VERY wild.

Re: correct play with aggressive button?
Your hand isn't that much of an advantage over his, so I think the laydown is correct, unless you were really looking to gamble. Depending on my opponent, I'll play my draws like that -- especially if I know they are the type of player that will laydown TPGK to an unknown. T8d is a hell of a drawing hand there; the only hand I'd rather have is JdTd (obviously).
