Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero raises, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB folds.

Flop: (7.50 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP2 folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.75 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero folds.

It was hard for me to muck this, but it seemed like the right play.

Final Pot: 8.75 BB
Main Pot: 7.75 BB, won by Button.
Pot 2: 1 BB, returned to Button.

Results in white below:
No showdown. Button wins 8.75 BB.

I call this down. If he coldcalled with a 5, I want to see it. I suspect he is overplaying AQ.

I would call this down without a read. He might have AQ or something like that, people get very protective of their top pair when someone raised preflop.

I agree I would definitely call this down at least... i might even raise the turn and check/call the river.
But I'm just a "stranger" and new to this critique thing.

But, my experience with the microlimits is people will play 2nd pair and TPMK like its the nuts. I think he had JJ or TT and was trying to scare out with 2nd pair (to the board) or he had AQ,KQ,JQ,QT.

I agree, but I don't think a 5 is out of the question.

Me no likey. I call this one down like the bitch I am every time.

You should have just folded to the flop cap if you were going to fold to a turn bet. Seriously. Tommy Angelo would be proud.

Ya.. Anyone capping the flop will likely bet out the turn, especially if you check it to him. You can't count on another K to fall, 22 out of 23 times it's not gonna happen..

That makes a lot of sense to me.

Yeah A5s is likely here, but so are 2 diamonds or AQ/KQ, etc. I would call it down. This is a place where it would be easier if you had seen more of his hands, so you would know if he was crazy or not.

I thought I was obviously beaten, but based on the responses, perhaps not.

Thanks
