Default Orange County Poker Rooms....

I am visiting family in Orange County this weekend, and am looking for a decent cardroom not too far from here. and am wondering what games are being played there too? I am in Costa Mesa to be a little more specific. thanks!

I've never heard of a poker room in orange county (I live in San Diego), but what I will say is that there is a card room called Oceans11 that is about 30-45 minutes south in san diego. Or you could just drive an hour north to all the cardrooms in LA.

Btw Costa Mesa is basically "east" Newport Beach, for those who know cardrooms in Orange County but not all the cities.

Go north, shorter than to O-11. Commerce is off the 5, Hawaiian Gardens is off the 605(about 10-15 min from CM). Both are in LA county btw.

I'd believe there are any legal card rooms in Orange County, however the closest to Costa Mesa would be Hawaiian Gardens, and if you play 4/8 hold'em, and I'm quoting Clarkmeister, they have the wildest 4/8 games in the world.
Both the Commerce and the Bike are perhaps 20 minutes from Hawaiian Gardens.

You may want to try Pechanga Casino in Temecula. I don't know the exact distance from OC, but I figure its roughly the same distance/time as Hawaiian Gardens, Bike, etc.

Nicer place too.

Probably 2 or three times further at least. Hawiian gardens is closest. But if you are going to be in the LA area, you have to go to commerce at least once. It's only like 40 min. from CM. Take the 405 south to the 55 north to the 5 north. Commerce is off the 5 at the Washington exit.
Hawiian Gardens is off of the 605. Take the 405 north to the 605 north. Not sure the exit, but there are signs.
