Hey Phil,
I call PF, fold the flop, C-R the river. And any games going on? Dave |

Re: QTs in the BB in a 15-30.
UTG raised so he's likely got a good hand...if hes been folding JJ or 99 on that kinda flop then i'd say bet, if not, check fold.
turn easy check call. river bet out call a raise or c-r but i think im leaning towards c-r. -Barron |

[/ QUOTE ] b/c im getting 6.5:1 on the flop and the effective odds if i dont hit the turn aren't worth me going all the way with the hand given that im likely in a heap of trouble right now and need a Q or T to make a hand and a 9, j, A to make a draw or 1 of 10 hearts to make a draw. (obviously i call if its only 1 bet back to me on the flop though...) -Barron |

Re: QTs in the BB in a 15-30.
I'd call one on the flop but not two. Is this too tight?
I think more often than not your 2 pair is good. Go for the check raise on the river. |

I think I'd fold on the flop most times.

Re: QTs in the BB in a 15-30.
Fold the flop. It's not clear if Q is an out because KQ is a real possibility, and you're going to really hate it if UTG 3-bets.

RESULTS
I thought the flop was a call given the backdoor outs to go with my middle pair, but I could be wrong. I still think if you feel you should CR the river with 2-pair then you should call the flop, but I could be wrong.
I did plan to go for the river CR. Although if UTG bet and MP1 called, I would have just overcalled. In the acutal hand, it got checked through. UTG had JJ, MP1 had AA and my hand was good. I am very surprised MP1 did not bet the river. Thanks for the replies, Phil |

I guess it's just me in the call camp again.
